My partner and I were in town visiting from Whitehorse YT. We specifically chose to eat at Tenkuu based solely on the reviews and menu selection. We were NOT disappointed. Not only is the atmosphere very genuine, and the staff friendly, but the food was impeccable! We ordered the Miso Soup, tempura Monkey Brains, Sexy Mexican roll, Red Dragon roll, Chef Tenkuu roll with Blue Fin Tuna. Everything was amazing! They make their own spicy mayo in house. Fantastic! Please don’t hesitate to try. 5 STARS!⭐️

Fantastic food! Ordered the small sushi platter - LOTS of food (I’d say enough for four - but if you’re big eaters three). Everything was fresh, taste was delightful.
Definitely going back!

My first visit to Tenkuu and it was amazing. Ordered food for take out and could not have been happier. Sushi was fresh, the rice was so soft. Miso soup was yummy. The tempura yams were so crunchy even by the time I got home, they did not get soggy.
I am very impressed and will return.

We have ordered a few times since this restaurant opened. We have ordered rolls, bento boxes, and appetizers. Everything has been of what you would expect of a really nice Japanese supper.

We tried this out for the dedicated gluten-free menu. The pieces of sashimi were huge and fresh, and the maki rolls were delicious. My partner loved his ramen too. We will order again!
